![]() ![]() This was the final test of the stitching and she sews beautifully. This photo shows years of dust and grime and dried old oil. Changing the rubber wheel on the bobbin winder, testing the bobbin winder, new red felt, changing the needle, checking the stitching and tension etc. Servicing includes a thorough clean and oil at the various oiling points. She has the ‘Filigree’ decals that are in good condition. There were 25,000 of this model made in that year. So this 99k was made by Singer in Kilbowie in Scotland in May 1936. Probably the longest service I have done! Machine back to Natasha in September 2020 when we next met. ![]() ![]() Lockdown happened and we were unable to meet. In November 2019 we discussed it having a service and I collected it on one of my visits to Pontypridd. This cute machine belongs to a friend of mine called Natasha. ![]()
